The World according to Americans
God bless….Russia
Well, few days ago, my dad wrote me in email that Russia is celebrating an Independence Day at 12th June.
Here some info in wiki:
Independence Day was first celebrated in Russia in 2005. It commemorates the popular uprising which expelled the Polish occupation force from Moscow in November 1612.
Before the looking to wiki page, I thought that ID holiday is based on freedom from since 1991
Anyway, Minin and Pozharskyy saved Russian asses
Russia is very difficult to understand country , when you are looking to some Russian news sites, you have only one question: How much patience Russian people have?
one week in Fort Collins Colorado
Well, today is the 7th day in Ft. Collins, Colorado.
By the way, flight to the USA was absolutely awful: 20 minutes delay in Moscow has changed all my plans. When the airplane arrived to Helsinki, Finland, very polite woman said that HEL-NY airplane went without you and here are your new tickets, you are travelling to USA with the stop in London. God bless FINNAIR. HEL-LON-US. Arriving time in NY JFK is 21:22 at May 17th. Great! I did got to JFK-DEN by Delta airlies in 18:40. After the 3 flights in a day, I stayed at JFK airport 7 hours to the next flight JFK-DEN in 7:55 by JetBlue airlines and then Denver to Fort Collins bus. That’s the story.
Here is my first feeligs about:
1. USA: you can not eat healthy food: only fast food :( Everbody has huge car like Jeep. All Malls are located almost outside the city. You can not buy, for example, bread without a trip about 20-30 minutes in a car and 30-40 minutes in a bike.
2. Colorado State University and Fort Collins: huuuuuge university, if you want to see all university, you should walk around 40-50 minutes. Computer Science Building is new and was opened in spring 2009. Everybody in Fort Collins are polite and friendly: person at the street can speak with you don’t even know you. This is some kind of a dream here.
On weekend, got stable housing, I am living in Lory Apartments, 2 bd and paying for it 440$\month(electricity, 100mbit\s internet and etc inluded). Actually, I did not saw my roomate, but his name is Travis Olson and he will leave those apartments on next week, who cares ?
Today watched a Terminator at Carmike Cinema, really cool movie, with a subject. If you don’t saw, you have to make it
Also, saw the Transformers teaser - absolutely I will go.
Enough.

installing lighttpd frontend + apache backend
So, today I’ve decided to discuss a lighttpd+apache combination.
Lighttpd - as frontend, Apache - backend.
Lighttpd holding 80 port, Apache - 8080 on localhost.
What is the profit in that combination? The answer is simple: Lighttpd eat all static web-content (all files, images), Apache eat all dynamics (php, cgi and others). Working together, they will have a success in high-loaded systems.
How to setup.
